AEA has completed over 8000 Commercial Duct Seal and Insulation projects for Tampa Electric (TECO Energy) in the last two years.
AEA was the vendor Tampa Electric used to implement their Commercial Energy Planner Pilot Program. Additionally, we have also participated in their Residential Energy Planner Program.
AEA has provided verifications for Tampa Electric’s residential conservation programs. These include: insulation, duct, window replacement and heat pump verifications. We also conducted energy audits for them during their peak season.
AEA is a participant in Tampa Electric’s Commercial and Residential Insulation Rebate Program.
AEA is a pre-qualified contractor for Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA’s) Insulation and Duct Repair program, and actively participates in each. We also participate in their commercial insulation rebate program.
AEA is one of only two contractors chosen to deliver JEA’s Low Income Weatherization project administered by GoodCents. One of our subsidiaries operates a low income weatherization program for GoodCents on behalf of Dominion Power Virginia.
AEA holds an Unlimited Electrical License—the highest level of electrical licenses issued by the state of Florida.
AEA key personnel hold certifications as a CEM (Certified Energy Manager) and CDSM (Certified Demand Side Management), as well as three Energy Analysts certified by the State Of Florida.
AEA has staff that are BPI certified.
AEA holds a General Contractor (GC) license, issued by the state of Florida, with over fifteen years of experience in this field, as well as a Class A Air Conditioning license.
A member of AEA’s key personnel includes a certified professional engineer.
One of our principals has an A.S. degree in Electrical Power Technology, as well as certifications in Industrial Electricity and advanced air conditioning and refrigeration.
